AU: Record blueberry harvest

The amount of blueberries harvested in northern NSW is at an all time high.
With many banana growers diversifying into the berry market, more than 25 per cent more blueberries have been harvested and processed this year.

Kamaldeep Sinclare from Ozberries says he expects this year's numbers to double by the same time next year. "This year we are thinking it will increase. We work on the tray basis of around 550,000 trays we will pack this year and each try is around 1.6kg so approximately we will pack around 800 tonnes of blueberries this year."
