Original recall was because salmonella was found

US: Texas distributor expands vegetable recall

A Texas food distributor has expanded a recall of packaged vegetables because of possible listeria contamination.
The Green Valley Food Corp. of Dallas issued the recall of about 35,159 cases of a variety of its products. They are sold under the Let’s Grow Healthy Together!, Green Valley Food Corp. and Broccosprouts labels.

The first recall was issued on Dec. 23 after a random sample tested positive for salmonella on Dec. 12.

The products have use dates ranging from Dec. 22, 2011, to Jan. 17, 2012.

More information about the recall can be found by calling (214) 939-3900.
