A recent virtual meeting between the economic authorities of Tajikistan and Russia placed strong emphasis on expanding exports of Tajik table grapes, along with other fresh agricultural products. The session reviewed progress on previously issued directives aimed at increasing the volume, consistency, and market access of Tajik produce.
Grapes remain one of Tajikistan's key seasonal products, and efforts are underway to streamline procedures connected with their export, including improvements in coordination between relevant agencies and adjustments to trade mechanisms.
