The Staay Food Group is expecting its first shipment of the new Polish apple crop. The batch of Royal Galas will arrive on Monday, September 13. This is the fifth season the company has directly imported these top fruits from growers in Poland. These direct lines guarantee a year-round supply of Polish apples.
Introducing their house brand and cardboard packaging sheets
"This season, these apples will be available under the Nero Premium house brand. That's a first. It highlights the quality of these Polish apples. The Nero Premium apple range includes Royal Gala, Red Prince, Golden Delicious, and Red Delicious," says a Staay spokesperson.
"The apples come directly from our growers. They're in the centrally located regions of Mazovia and Kuyavia-Pomerania. We'll keep offering offer apples under the familiar Castle-Valley brand this season too. That's along with the Nero Premium brand."
"From now on, all packaging will also feature pulp packing sheets. That will save us a considerable amount of plastic packaging material annually," adds the representative.
The season's prospects look excellent. The apple crop should be twice as big as last season. And the quality is expected to be high. The farmers' trees are full of apples, ready for harvesting.
