New systems to be showcased for global fruit processing sector

Provisur will present a selection of its industrial food processing systems at Fruit Logistica, taking place from 4 to 6 February 2026 in Berlin. The company will focus on modular equipment used for producing fruit compote, mash, and juice, including its STS, Barracuda, and Hoegger refiners.

The STS 800, STS 2000, and STS 3000 refiners are designed for the production of jams, compotes, and a range of fruit and vegetable sauces and purees. The newly introduced STS 2000 offers higher throughput and enhanced control of product quality. In this system, raw material is drawn into the refiner by a flexible pressing belt and pressed against a perforated drum. Soft components pass through the drum while stones, skin, and other hard materials are removed by a scraping knife and directed into a waste chute. The equipment is built for straightforward maintenance and cleaning to support hygienic operation.

For smaller or batch-based processing, the AM2C Barracuda and STS systems provide lower capacities at reduced machine sizes. The Barracuda uses low-RPM refiner technology with a single screw feed to handle raw material gently. It includes a two-pallet vane pump and operates at capacities ranging from 100 kilograms to 30 tonnes per hour, refining from 360 microns to 10 millimetres. It processes fresh or cooked products between 0 and 90 °C, including those with high fibre content. Testing and demonstrations are available at the Provisur Innovation Center in Plailly, France, or on-site.

The Hoegger PS2000 and PS4000 refiners are suited to soft and cooked products requiring controlled pressure, producing compote or mash while separating hard and soft particles. Known for their use in potato processing, these machines can also remove pits, stones, skins, stems, black spots, and fibres from fruit. Their pressure-control system maintains low, consistent pressure, and the knife-head rotation can be precisely adjusted. Automatic recipe-controlled settings support consistent output. The equipment is designed for ease of operation, cleaning, and cost-efficient use.

Provisur will be at Fruit Logistica from 4-6 February 2026 in Hall 2.1 | Booth B-14
