According to preliminary data from the State Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan harvested 1.9 million tonnes of potatoes in the first half of 2025, a 3.4% increase compared to the same period last year.
The top five regions by production are:
- Samarkand: 334,300 tonnes
- Surkhandarya: 247,500 tonnes
- Andijan: 232,700 tonnes
- Fergana: 231,300 tonnes
- Bukhara: 190,800 tonnes.
Together, these regions form the core of Uzbekistan's potato sector, contributing the largest share of the national harvest.
