Offering figs, melons, Tahiti lemons, mangoes, papayas and much more

MBR Company has been a valuable player in the fresh fruit sector

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, MBR Company has been a key player in the food sector, particularly in the export, import, and distribution of fresh fruit. This involvement is part of the Frutas do Brasil project, a collaborative effort with the Brazilian Association of Fruit and Derivatives Exporters (Abrafrutas) and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). MBR offers a diverse range of fruits including fig, melon, Tahiti lemon, mango, papaya, guava, orange, apple, pitaya, persimmon, atemoya, and tomato, serving large distributors and supermarket chains worldwide, with exports reaching the European Union, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Canada, among others.

In 2023, Brazil's significant melon exports, totaling approximately 230 thousand tons and generating US$190 million in revenue, underscored the global demand for this fruit. MBR Company has capitalized on this, ensuring the year-round availability of various melon types like cantaloupe, yellow, galia, and frogskin, particularly to the United Arab Emirates through air shipments during off-season periods.
