Mandarin imports in Russia's Primorsky Krai from Pakistan have surged threefold in a week

According to the Primorsky Interregional Department of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), from March 4th to 10th, a total of 6,089.1 tons of fresh vegetables, fruits, and berries from various countries were brought into the region.

During this period, 4,769.1 tons of fruit and vegetable products arrived from China, including 1,860.2 tons of fresh fruits and berries.

Rosselkhoznadzor also oversaw the import of 673.4 tons of bananas from Ecuador, 562.7 tons of mandarins from Pakistan (compared to 186.5 tons from the previous week), and 83.9 tons of grapes from India.

All quarantine products have been cleared for import by inspectors from the Primorsky Interregional Department of Rosselkhoznadzor following quarantine phytosanitary control.
