Last month, the Leanri brand held a number of meetings with producers specialized in the cultivation of its mandarin, with the goal of learning firsthand about their experience in managing the variety.
The aim was to learn more about how they manage the cultivation process and about their perceptions of the variety, delving into their experience with it. These meetings provided a deep and professional insight into the cultivation of the Leanri mandarin and served to highlight its uniqueness.
Manuel Jarén, who has over seven years of experience in the cultivation of the Leanri and is the CEO of Golden Citrus, a leading company in the cultivation of premium clementine varieties, shared his prospects for this variety.
"Our experience growing this mandarin has been very satisfactory. We produce it especially because of its excellent organoleptic qualities. It has a number of characteristics that are sought after by the market. It has a good size, very good color and is very easy to peel, but above all, it has an excellent taste," he says. "It has the best possible qualities to be expected in citrus fruits today," he says.
"We are talking about a mandarin variety that is intended for professionals, or for people with a high level of specialization in citrus production. Our cultivation is carried out in a very rational, natural and environmentally-friendly way that helps protect the wildlife and auxiliary flora. Besides, the variety also helps maintain very good agricultural practices in the farms."
