In January, Krasnoyarsk Krai welcomed a significant influx of imported fruits and vegetables totaling 3,000 tons.
In a recent update from the regional Rosselkhoznadzor, it was revealed that a variety of products were imported from China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
A total of 1.4 thousand tons of fruits were brought in, comprising 737 tons of mandarins, 190 tons of apples, 125 tons of lemons, 74 tons of grapes, 70 tons of oranges, and 246 tons of other fruits including pomelo, pears, kiwi, pineapples, and pitaya.
Vegetable imports were slightly lower at 1.1 thousand tons, including peppers, cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, garlic, zucchini, radishes, onions, aubergines, radishes, and others.
During sanitary control, 83.8 tons of products underwent inspection, revealing 15 quarantine cases. Consequently, quarantine phytosanitary measures were promptly implemented by specialists.
