"We aim to showcase our expertise in customs management and logistics in Almeria":

New Partida Logistics branch opens in Almeria

Recently, the customs agency Partida Logistics, based in the Spanish municipality of Algeciras, has opened a branch in Almeria to be able to work closer to its clients in that very important horticultural area, as well as in the Region of Murcia.

The company aims to strengthen the connection and streamline the customs processes for imports and exports from and to Morocco and Algeria, as well as the bureaucratic processes for the shipments to non-EU European countries, such as the United Kingdom, Norway, or Switzerland.

"This branch will help us strengthen our presence in southeastern Spain, one of Europe's agricultural powerhouses, where we already had a delegation in Motril, Granada," says Álvaro Partida, the company's Commercial and Business Expansion Director. "We already have several clients in Almeria, but we want to expand our presence there by offering our expertise in customs matters."

"We will continue developing our Brexit division, which operates from Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day. Although it is not yet confirmed, it is likely that the United Kingdom will request a phytosanitary certificate from any European exporting country this year, adding complexity to the customs processes. We are accustomed to managing the phytosanitary controls of products coming from Africa and Latin America, and we want to prove ourselves in Almeria with our experience in this field," says Álvaro Partida.

New office in Tangier and connections with Melilla and Algeria
"With the opening of the Tangermed line, we are providing a door-to-door service for better logistical, phytosanitary, and customs management between the Moroccan and Spanish coasts, whether from Tangier to Algeciras or Motril or from Nador to Almería," says Álvaro.

New connections with Melilla and Algeria have also been added at the ports of Ghazaouet and Oran, as the North African country will progressively lift the ban on products of Spanish origin following the diplomatic crisis of Western Sahara.
