The opening of the Uzbek-Russian agrologistics complex in the Jizzakh region

On November 28, 2023, the first phase of the BMB-NRC Agrologistics project, an Uzbek-Russian agrologistics alliance, was launched in the Sharaf-Rashidov district of Uzbekistan. The project includes a three-tier module with refrigerated chambers and warehouses with a capacity of 10 thousand tons, facilitating the export of 810 thousand tons of agricultural products upon completion. The first module, with a capacity of 270 thousand tons per year, has already been put into operation.

The Jizzakh region, with its central location and railway connection, is becoming a key center for the development of trade and quality standards in agriculture. Uzbekistan is giving significant attention to the development of exports and entry into new markets. Specifically, vegetables and fruits are being supplied to 80 countries on different continents. The country has over 80 agrologistics centers with a total capacity of more than one million tons.

The project reinforces the importance of Uzbekistan as a global player in agrologistics. BMB-NRC Agrologistics offers a full range of services, including sorting, processing, packaging, and storage of products, as well as logistical support based on the "single window" principle.
