Krasnoyarsk Territory imported more than 20.000 tons of imported fruits and vegetables

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, more than 20 thousand tons of imported fruits and vegetables have been imported since the beginning of this year, according to specialists from the Rosselkhoznadzor. In addition, the department's employees monitored the import of over 27.5 thousand tons of plant products of foreign origin.

It is specified that 20.7 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables, including watermelons, cabbage, tomatoes, onions, apples, grapes, and others, were imported to the region from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, the Republic of Armenia, Belarus, Iran, Turkey, and Tajikistan. Also, 30.8 tons of nuts and legumes from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, and 12.2 tons of mint, basil, and cilantro from Armenia.

Rosselkhoznadzor added that within the framework of phytosanitary control of products, 276 cases of detection of quarantine objects were identified, including grain mites, Californian scale, South American tomato moth, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, and others.
