Ahold Delhaize "on the path to recovery" after a weak quarter
Ahold Delhaize's third-quarter sales fell 2.1% to 21.9bln euros, and its operating margin fell to 3.8%, mainly due to higher costs in the US. In Europe, that margin was 3.5%, in the US 4.2%. Hema opens shop on JD.com
Hema Fresh, or Freshippo, the Alibaba-owned supermarket chain, has opened its flagship store on JD.com, one of the group's main competitors.
