Shandong was the original home of winter jujubes, but its subsequent development lagged behind other producing areas such as Shaanxi, and the taste was unsatisfactory. A few years ago, the second-generation winter jujube was developed. After several years of improvement and promotion, the taste and quality have been improving year by year. Judging from the volume this year, the taste and quality are ideal, and the price and sales are both good."
After the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, the fruit market performance was dull. According to Liu, the market has begun to pick up in the past three days, and fruit sales have gradually increased. Currently, domestic fruits with good sales include winter jujubes, Jinqiu sugar tangerines, persimmons, and apples.
Lvshenglan Fruit has dozens of hectares of orchards for Jinqiu sugar tangerines, and citrus is also the company's main fruit. Liu mentioned sugar oranges and golden autumn sugar tangerines: "The market for sugar tangerines has been not ideal in the past few years, which has caused many farmers to abandon their business, affecting the overall output and quality. This year, the price will rebound. As for the Jinqiu sugar tangerines, the quality is currently good and the price is higher than last year. The price at the origin is now rising. For example, the price at the origin in Yunnan was ￥14/kg earlier, but now it has reached ￥18/kg.”
