Italian deliveries dominated: Besides Italia, Michele Palieri and Crimson Seedless, mainly Red Globe and Sugraone were ready. Victoria apparently lost importance, but there were more Regina and Pizzutello. Many different Arra and Sugra varieties completed the assortment. Spanish and Greek shipments were limited, and the relevance of French Muscat de Hambourg and Alphonse Lavallée was also limited, according to the BLE. From Turkey, Sultana and, secondarily, Crimson Seedless were the main products. For German Heike one should pay in Frankfurt between 3 € and 3.50 € per kg. The demand was quite positive and could still be met without difficulty.

Apples
Local offers formed the basis of the supply. Overall, the supply grew a little and was sufficient to satisfy the interest. Prices therefore changed only rarely.
Pears
Italian and Turkish Santa Maria as well as domestic Conference predominated in a wide-ranging assortment. In terms of prices, not much happened: for the most part, prices remained at previous levels.
Plums
Availability declined rapidly: Domestic presenta, domestic plum and various top varieties lost immensely in importance. Quality was no longer consistently convincing. Interest had also weakened in general, and a certain customer saturation was undeniable at this late stage of the season.
Lemons
South African supplies dominated, Spanish had only a supplementary character and were completely absent in Berlin. Sales were relatively quiet.
Bananas
Supply and demand generally balanced each other out sufficiently. Traders therefore rarely had cause to modify their previous prices.
Cauliflower
The apparent dominance of domestic supplies was flanked by a few Dutch and Belgian imports. Availability had become limited, but it was sufficient to meet demand.
Salads
Overall, business was without major highlights. Demand was generally met without difficulty. Nevertheless, prices trended upward from time to time.
Cucumbers
Domestic, Dutch and Belgian snake cucumbers formed the basis of the range. They were flanked by Spanish offerings, which met with good demand as a result of their improved quality and low prices.
Tomatoes
Availability was sufficient to meet demand. Prices did not show a clear line: Lowered prices were observed as well as rising prices.
Sweet peppers
Dutch and Polish deliveries predominated. Overall, interest was satisfied without major efforts. Quotations showed no clear trend, often fluctuating very significantly.
