The Golden-silk Jujube from Leling, Dezhou, Shandong are ripe, red, crisp and sweet

"In Leling, jujube cultivation has a history of more than 3,000 years. Jujubes are the business card of Leling and the root and soul of our Leling people. Although our jujube industry has encountered many difficulties due to the impact of the market, we have always persisted in retaining our roots and spirit. From the planting and marketing model to the extension of the industrial chain and the exploration of industrial culture, our jujube industry is now getting stronger and stronger." Speaking of jujube in her hometown, Wu Xia, chairman of the People's Congress of Zhuji Town, is very proud.

The city's core jujube planting area in Leling is over 7,000 hectares, and the Millennium Jujube Forest Scenic Area is around 1,700 hectares, including nearly 1,400 jujube trees that are over 500 years old and 376 jujube trees that are over 1,000 years old.

Entering September, the large-area Golden-silk Jujube has entered its final ripening period, turning red under the sunlight, and is about to usher in the golden harvest period during the National Day holiday. "Thin peel, thick flesh, and small pit" are the characteristics of Leling jujube, which has won great favor from the market.

As the jujube ripens, an outdoor activity to promote healthy living called "Beautiful Jujube Forest·New National Style" organized by Leling City Land Development and Consolidation Co., Ltd. was held at the China Jujube Expo in the Millennium Jujube Forest in Leling City.

The branches are covered with red jujubes. To celebrate the harvest, Leling City Land Development and Consolidation Co., Ltd. combined with the jujube cultural tourism festival invited more than 20 fans of traditional culture to visit the Forest and take photos. The ancient traditional costumes and the red jujube trees create a unique sense of beauty, playing a wonderful “symphony” in the jujube forest, fully presenting the local customs and cultural connotations of Leling.
