'We fly to Asia Fruit Logistica to strengthen international partnerships'

Everything is ready for Mazzoni Group's departure for Hong Kong. As in previous years, the Ferrara-based company will attend Asia Fruit Logistica (6-8 September), which will be held in its historical location for the 2023 edition. According to the best tradition, the Group will attend the fair with its stand at the Collective of CSO Italy (Stand 5J16 in Hall 5).

Matteo Mazzoni, Sales Director and third generation of the Group, states: "The Asian fair will be an important opportunity to meet our international partners, both historical and potential, and to make plans for the upcoming campaigns, especially those of kiwi fruit, Greek and Italian, and apples.”

The Greek kiwi is a booming product for the Group, to which significant investments have been addressed. Mazzoni affirms: "Last year in October, we inaugurated our own state-of-the-art warehouse in Greece, from which we directly store, process and ship the product worldwide."

Regarding apples, alongside the flagship variety Pink Lady®, with which the company has been supplying national and international customers 365 days a year for the past twenty years, the Group will be introducing a new addition: Joya®, an apple derived from the same breeding programme as Rosy Glow, which is characterised by a red skin and an intense pulp, with a crisp, sour taste, very crunchy to the bite. The manager comments: “Our apples are produced either in our or in our partners’ farms, located in the plains of Ferrara. For both Joya® and Pink Lady® we are expecting a harvest with excellent organoleptic qualities and a long shelf life.”
