Tavros fresh produce trade park will start operating in Bashkiria in 2024

The implementation of the first stage of the investment project of the Tavros agricultural park for the storage and trade of vegetables and fruits is planned for 2024 and the completion of the entire project is planned for 2026. Investments will amount to about 25 billion rubles, Alexei Gusev, Minister of Trade and Services of Bashkiria, told TASS.

“A site has been selected on the border with the city of Ufa, within transport accessibility from the intersection of major federal highways,” Gusev said.

The agropark will combine the functions of a trading platform with the possibilities of international and exchange trade, a farmer's market, product storage and processing, and phytosanitary control. "The agropark will create conditions for the sale of its own products to both local producers and producers from other regions of Russia and foreign countries. The main products will be vegetables, fruits, meat and meat products. The project will help ensure the food security of the region, the entry of our producers into international markets and increase the productivity of the entire agro-industrial complex of the republic," the minister added.
