Recently, refrigerated vans loaded with apples, grapes, fresh peaches and other fruits and vegetables left China through the "green channel" for quick customs clearance of agricultural products at Khorgas Port. As a leading enterprise in the import and export of agricultural products in the autonomous region, Khorgas Jinyi International Trade (Group) conducts trade with the five Central Asian countries and Russia.
The data shows that in July, the fruit and vegetable export volume of Khorgas Port was 4768.7 tons, a year-on-year increase of 121.9%, and the trade volume was 38.599 million yuan. In the first seven months, the export volume of fruits and vegetables at the Port was 30,000 tons, and the trade volume was 500 million yuan, an increase of 13.8% and 14.5% year-on-year respectively. The exported fruits and vegetables mainly include fresh peaches, pears, and apples.
"In 2021, there will be nearly 30 large trucks passing through highway ports every day, and this year it will reach 80." The staff at Khorgas Port said that under the premise of normalized pandemic prevention and control, this year, Khorgas Port has innovatively implemented various customs clearance modes to reduce the transportation cost of enterprises and improve the efficiency of customs clearance.
According to statistics, since the opening of the "green channel" for rapid customs clearance of agricultural products, as of the end of 2021, Khorgas Customs has supervised more than 800,000 tons of imported and exported agricultural products, with a trading volume of 9.433 billion yuan. From January to July this year, the trade volume of agricultural products exported at Khorgas Port was 2.209 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 62.9%, and the level of agricultural produce trade between China and Kazakhstan continued to improve.
