For years now, Delta Fresh has been a stopover between producers and consumers for many importers and exporters in the Netherlands. "We offer a complete package of options, from sorting to customs services, quality control to packaging. Generally, an ideal center for the complete package," says Wim Schipper.

Dutch onions are Delta Fresh's largest product group. "We have all the facilities to deliver yellow and red onions in any desired size and packaging. With ample refrigerated storage capacity, we can respond quickly to any order, even the largest volumes. Customers can come to us year-round for red onions too. We can rely on Dutch red onions for nine months. In those months these are unavailable, we have red onions from Egypt."
"Delta Fresh also offers a reliable site to cool and store products like ginger, sweet potatoes, and garlic. Specialties such as Chinese chestnuts, apples, and pears also regularly find their way here," Wim explains. "Our warehouses have facilities with separate refrigeration rooms. We can, thus, store at temperatures from -3°C up and have more than 2,000 refrigerated pallet spaces. That, and a flexible service allows us to meet any order, fast."
"In addition to this storage, we offer numerous services to unburden our clients. For example, it doesn't take us long to repackage large volumes into any quantity, weight, and amount. We can do quality checks, and since we're a customs warehouse with AEO status, we're allowed to receive and store the goods in transit. Plus, we have an approved Quality Control Bureau inspection site," Wim concludes.
