Mountain View Fruit Sales is proud to reveal its new label: Mountain View Estate Vineyards.
On May 4th, 2022, it was announced that industry veteran and longtime grape grower George Matoian and family had joined the Mountain View family of farmers, a group known for growing premium stone fruit and citrus under the brands Summeripe, Summertime, Rascals and Brilliant.
“George and his family have been growing premium export quality grapes for generations,” said Mike Thurlow, owner of Mountain View Fruit Sales and Cold Storage. “We are excited and honored to have such quality growers join our team as we continue to grow and enhance our company, program and customer service.”
“Although the industry may know Mountain View primarily as a stone fruit company, our vision has always been to partner with growers committed to quality and consistency in the field, and combine that with a sales and marketing team committed to growing sales from tree to table by providing the best service,” said Rob Brett, director of sales and marketing at Mountain View. “Our approach to growing our grape program and servicing our customers will be a mirror image of what we have promised, developed and delivered with our stone fruit and citrus programs.”
