A unique international collaboration is launching, led by "Hadiklaim", an Israeli date growers cooperative that is marketing its products in Israel and worldwide as well as "Hameshakem" - the national organization for employment of people with disabilities and its equivalent in the UEA ("ZHO").
Both date marketing firms are assisted by people with disabilities to pack and market their products to state public institutions that provide employment and allow them to integrate in the job market while allowing them an independent life and a source of income.
In Israel, the packing is done by the national company “Hameshakem”, owned by the Welfare and social security bureau and the WZO, that employs about 2700 workers with various disabilities, both physical and mental challenges, and spreads across Israel in order to provide them autonomous life and a source of income.
In the UAE, the packing is made by the national parent organization “Zayed higher Organization for People of Determination” (ZHO), that is actively responsible for the rehabilitation of individuals with special needs in the UAE, by employment and facilitating appropriate income.
Together, these 3 parties will jointly market a new and festive Dates selection package of Israeli Medjoul dates and Emirate Safawi dates. This package will be sold under the name “Peace of Dates” in the Netherlands and then in other countries worldwide.

His Excellency Abdullah Abdulalee Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, welcomed this initiative, which comes within the framework of the organization’s efforts to support initiatives that aim to create productive working environments for people of determination on both regional and international levels.
He added that the cooperation with " Hameshakem " expresses the policy of tolerance and peace pursued by the UAE on an international level, and expands horizons for partnership with all entities that serve people of determination.
