Fruit Logistica Innovation Award - 2022 nominees announced

The Fruit Logistica Innovation Award (FLIA) is presented annually at Fruit Logistica in Berlin. It honours outstanding innovations in the entire fruit and vegetable supply chain from production to the point of sale.

The ten best innovations selected and nominated for FLIA 2022 by an expert jury will be presented in Berlin.

“AMELA TOMATO”, GRANADA LA PALMA, S.COOP.AND., SPAIN

The Amela tomato is an innovative variety developed in Japan. By reducing irrigation to a minimum, sugars and acids can be concentrated. Amela is distinguished by its high Brix values and high levels of nutrients and amino acids. These provide a fine balance of flavours. Available in sizes between 50 and 140 g.
