Putting it all on citrus

Central Market has kicked off its annual Citrus Fest which is complete with eye-catching displays.

Central Market’s buyers have been searching for bright, fresh flavors to bring to Texas at the peak of the season and this year, more than 55 different citrus items are featured in the produce department. New products include imported Italian Moro blood oranges and imported Italian Taracco blood oranges along with favorite returning varieties such as Indian River red grapefruit and Indian River white grapefruit, bergamots, limequats, Satsuma tangerines, Kishu mandarins, Buddha Hands and calamondin.

Citrus Fest runs until January 25 and also features new specialty foods (such as bean-to-bar citrus infused chocolates), juices, citrus-inspired floral arrangements, a Spotify playlist and more.
