Forsfood celebrated the Company's 30th anniversary by launching a new generation of peeling machines. The new peeler answers challenges in the peeling process for the 2020s, especially in peeling quality and in capacity. For example, with big products, like sweet potatoes, Forsfood's machines have reached very good peeling results.
Forsfood's export manager Mr. Rune Särs states that: ”When we say that this machine is the first of a new generation of peelers, it truly is! Starting with the design and engineering of the machine, we have taken into account values which are important for us and future generations; The machines have been designed to last longer and have possibilities for upgrades and changes. The knife rollers have a new design (patent pending), the rollers have a wider cutting area, so the product will be fully peeled. It is possible to re-sharpen the rollers, so the life cycle for the rollers is quite long."
"Our intelligent management system provides features that make the machines easy to use, you can also follow your production and collect data. The Forsfood machines are made of locally produced stainless steel and are almost fully recyclable at the end-of-the machines life cycle. Also, all components have been evaluated and mostly purchased close by to ensure responsibility. That is why we also wanted to make our values visible by naming a the new product family in the spirit of the Northern nature. 'Machines from the North' describes our desire to help our customers to produce clean food with a safe process which also supports sustainable development.”
