First field transplants signify upcoming Honduras melon season

Located in the city of San Lorenzo, Department of Valle in the southern region of Honduras, Agrolibano has started planting for the upcoming melon season. The company has more than 40 years experience in exporting melons around the world. Each year, around 4,000 containers of melons are shipped to the most demanding markets of the USA, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. “We are committed to delivering the best quality fruit to our customers around the world under our brand Mike's Melons,” says a company release.

On October 18, the company began with the first field transplants of its Cantaloupe melons, Italian cantaloupe, and Galia which will be harvested during the third week of December.
