Container shortage inspires work of art

Bruce Lin was born in 1960 in Taiwan. He has resided in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, since 1989. He owns Euro Pacific and imports ginger, garlic, apples, and pears from China. Bruce has another passion - painting. In 2016, he was accepted into the Prins Alexander Arts Academy. Since then, he has exhibited his work in both Taiwan and the Netherlands.

Bruce recently combined both his passions in an oil painting entitled 'Hard to get a container'. His inspiration? The high sea freight rates and difficulties in obtaining containers. The container's Maersk logo is reminiscent of the color of the sky. It also reminded Bruce of 1984-1988 when he worked for Maersk in Taiwan.
