Glasgow man arrested in Spain over ‘importing drugs by fraudulent fruit transport companies’

A Scottish fugitive has been arrested by police officials at a Spanish shopping centre. Lloyd Cross from Glasgow was apprehended by specialist narcotics squad detectives probing alleged organized crime.

Spanish policemen detained the suspect in the glamorous resort of Marbella, on the Costa Del Sol, last week. Authorities said the arrest was linked to the alleged importation of "narcotic substances using fraudulent fruit transport companies”. The alleged incidents are said to have occurred between January and September 2020.
