ProChile, the Export Promotion Agency, is launching its new 'Unboxing Chile' marketing campaign in the coming days in various priority markets to promote the country's export portfolio as a reliable, sustainable, and quality offer.
ProChile and the main business associations are launching the Unboxing Chile campaign to promote exports, which would help reactivate the economy and allow national companies to create more jobs. The campaign will dispatch hundreds of boxes with typical products of the national industry to influencers from all over the world. Each market will have its local influencers and, since he's known all over the world, soccer player Alexis Sanchez will be the international influencer for the campaign. He will promote the different national production sectors that will participate in the campaign throughout the year: food, creative industries, services, and industries 4.0.
The red box will evoke different sensations in Alexis when he opens it. It will also highlight how close he feels to Chile when he sees and consumes Chilean products or services abroad. ProChile, together with the main unions in the country –Wines of Chile, Salmon Chile, ASOEX, and ChileCarne– opted to work with Alexis because he has played in various countries, soccer is a global sport, and because of the number of followers he has on social networks, as he ranks 4th place in Chile and 721 in the world.
The campaign is a joint effort between the public and private sectors. The unions had active participation in deciding the content of the campaign and in the election of Sanchez as a spokesperson for it. Unboxing was launched on Friday the 11th and featured Alexis' participation in four videos (multisector, food, services/industries 4.0, and creative industries) that will be replicated by ProChile's 56 offices worldwide and its 16 regional offices, in addition to all the network of exporters and agencies of the specific markets where the promotion aspires to consolidate exports.
