Suuplying organic potatoes to Riverford

GPS assisted potato planting in Uffculme, Devon

This season’s potatoes have been planted at Gaddon Spring Farm near Uffculme, Devon. The process involved GPS assisted field preparation and planting. Everything revolves around the organic crop, consisting of the 'Triplo' variety.

The farm - owned by the Farley's - entire potato crop is distributed by Riverford through the year in their vegetable boxes. And although it is an organic crop, high tech is being used, with GPS producing ground mapping in every detail.

For uniformity, all John Deere tractors are used and supplied by Masons Kings. The lines of potatoes in the ground are incredibly, mesmerizingly straight.
