In the Netherlands, Fresh Fruit Express is already well-known for its smoothies. Now, it's introduced a fruit popsicle range. These 'paletas' are very popular in Central and South America. This healthy snack originated in Mexico. It's pure fruit in the form of a popsicle on a stick.
In 2015, in southern France, three friends introduced this icy treat to Europe. That was under the name Pistoleros. "It's become a real hype that's already been widely imitated," states the company. These fruit popsicles have now been added exclusively to Fresh Fruit Express's range in the Benelux.
You can order ten different kinds of popsicles in their webshop. That includes two organic variants and a chocolate-filled variety. There's also an alcohol Mojito version. The popsicles come in 100 pieces - ten boxes of ten popsicles.
