FlatBags®
FlatBags are double-square-bottom bags made of 100% recyclable paper with very strong handles. They are the result of the optimisation of the bag sector for the food industry. Their size can be customised according to the customer's needs, ranging from 350 grams to over 1 kg. They can be perfectly arranged in a tray and their handles have a 'teaser' effect, i.e. they entice the consumer to pick them up and take them away.
"FlatBags can be made of kraft paper or moisture-resistant ribbon paper. The choice of using one bag rather than another depends on the requirements: for example, with heavier fruit or vegetables, bags with handles are used so that they are easier to grip," the company explains.
The double square bottom allows for easy opening during filling and fits the size of all standard size overpacks. The high density of the papers used also means they are highly resistant to moisture.
Their material allows complete customisation: they are available in natural neutral 'Avana' or white paper. An absolute added value, in terms of enhancing the product content and brand visibility, is the possibility of printing up to 10 colours and graphically decorating the FlatBags, with the possibility of printing any type of graphic motif, making them an important communication tool. The printing is flexographic and uses a type of ink certified for food contact, absolutely safe in terms of high quality migration, guaranteeing a clear and high definition final result.
They also offer important advantages in terms of logistics, as they are transported flat, taking up less space and thus optimising transport costs and environmental impact.
Wide range of paper solutions
Carton Pack offers square bottom bags with reinforced handles, bags with handles integrated into the die, Paper Mini-Shoppers with rope-reinforced handles, in white or neutral paper, which can be fully customised, and square bottom bags without handles, also available with a shaped edge. The latter solutions are ideal for grapes and cherry tomatoes, but can also be used for other types of fruit and vegetables.
