Sharing some Pink Lady® love this Valentine's Day

With the pandemic still causing uncertainty across the UK and beyond, here at Pink Lady® we wanted to give something back to our loyal fans as well as provide some much-needed help and support to our charity partner, FareShare, to help spread some love this Valentine’s Day.

This February, Co-op customers can be in with a chance of winning a stunning UK luxury spa break to Pennyhill Park hotel and spa by entering our competition, featured on every pack of our delicious apples exclusively in Co-op stores from 8th to 28th February. Simply follow the instructions on the on-pack sticker to be in with a chance of winning the covetable prize package.

As part of the promotion, we will also be working closely with our friends at Total Worldfresh to help donate 24,000 apples to FareShare, in honour of our ongoing commitment to the UK’s largest food charity fighting hunger and food waste. This donation will go towards helping to support vulnerable children and families in the UK this spring.

Joanna Dyson, Head of Food at FareShare, comments: “We are absolutely delighted to be working with Pink Lady®. Since the coronavirus outbreak, the demand for food has more than doubled, which is why continued support from brands such as Pink Lady® is so pivotal to our mission and maintaining the services we provide to vulnerable people.

“Working with a network of 11,000 charities, we are committed to providing nutritious and healthy food to the people we are trying to support, therefore being able to source and supply top quality fresh produce is essential. We would like to thank Pink Lady® and Co-op customers for supporting our charity with this promotion and generous product donation. Being able to reach such a wide audience with our message is key for raising awareness of our mission to reduce food waste and feed vulnerable people.”
