The Seafrigo group is strengthening its presence in the Port of Le Havre area; the food logistics specialist will be setting up a facility located at the Seafrigo Logistics Park. The facility near Le Havre’s Red Bridge will comprise of two warehouses whose construction began last September. Each warehouse, designed for the storage of dry products, will cover an area of 30,000m2.
The dry 60,000m2 facility is expected to be operational in October 2021 and will be in addition to the 16,000m2 buildings dedicated to the already existing flows of fresh and deep-frozen products.
According to a container-news.com report, the Port of Le Havre said it is pleased to be able to assist the international food logistics specialist in the conversion of this vacant lot for the benefit of a project that will underpin industrial, logistics and maritime activities that generate value-added.
