Davilal appoints new sales manager and production manager

At the end of October 2020, Laurent Ligonnière will quit his
position as production manager after 10 years within the
company. We wish him a lot of success in his new projects.
Jean René Gourdon becomes the new production manager from
the beginning of November 2020. His experience in the fruit
industry and his 10-year commitment as sales manager of Dalival
are the assets that will allow him to take up this new challenge.

Jean-Sébastien Berger started as sales manager at the end of
August. He has a university degree in agriculture, a good
knowledge of the agricultural industry and a significant experience
in the international seed trade. Together with his team, he will
follow the projects of Dalival’s customers, in line with the work
done by Jean-René.

Thierry Ligonnière, managing director of Dalival: "I am delighted to welcome Jean-Sébastien Berger as Sales Director of Dalival. Since his arrival, he has shown a curiosity, an enthusiasm and strong skills which confirm our choice. His commercial experiences, in a field both close and different from ours, will strengthen Dalival in the continuity of what has been undertaken previously and in the launches of all our new projects, including the commercial launches of varietal innovations."

Jean-Sébastien Berger said: "After an experience in the international grain seed trade, I am very happy to have been chosen to join the Dalival team. I discover with great enthusiasm a specialized industry of plant production as well as new colleagues, both professional and engaged. The fruit industry has great challenges to meet, and I believe that Dalival has all the necessary assets to achieve them: high quality men and women, efficient genetics, a well-defined strategy and a know-how acquired from its decades of existence."
