Data management - how do we deal with it?
It's an indisputable fact, but how do we tackle it? According to Kristian de Lange, Thysia's director, many companies are trying to find a way to do so. "Data management processes often fall through the cracks. It happens a lot in Excel and when using e-mail."
"Think, for example, of creating a new supplier, client or item. These kinds of processes involve different departments and systems. That's why they aren't suited to be added to an ERP system. Nor is it an option to purchase a separate system for each task. Then you get islands of automation."
