"This season we're bringing back the Galia and Juan Canary melons"

Ayco Farms Inc, Pompano Beach Fl, is looking forward to this year's upcoming offshore melon season. The 2020-2021 season benchmark’s Ayco Farms 15th year as one of the top 5 Melon Importers in the US.

Within these 15 yrs of growing, shipping and packing, Ayco has faced many challenges that as a team they have overcome, but none have been as challenging as the ongoing and unpredictable effects of COVID-19. Ayco has implemented many changes in their packing houses to ensure safe distance standards, extra sanitization for both facilities and employees.

Ayco President, Avi Nir states: “I am so proud of my team on how they are handling things at our farms post-Covid. Our managers and our employees have worked hard to make our farms as safe as possible.”

Back by popular demand, Ayco Farms is bringing back two specialty melons, the Galia and Juan Canary. “With overwhelming positive feedback and demand from our customers, we have decided to integrate these flavorful varieties into our production again.” says Ben Nir, Sales.

Ayco Farms offshore melon season will have large seedless watermelons, MiniMe seedless watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, Galia, and Juan Canary varieties available in November.
