Cumulative volume of citrus exported to all regions at 63,994,325 cartons

According to a report by the Citrus Growers’ Association of South Africa, citrus exports to the rest of Africa (and surrounding islands) stood at 60,905 cartons in week 38, down 10% year -on-year.

In week 38, the cumulative volume of citrus exported to all regions stood at 63,994,325 equivalent cartons, all of which were shipped by sea, none by air.

 

Most shipments again went to Europe (at 1,678,306 units), with Southeast Asia coming second at 842,120 units, and the Middle East coming in third at 737,052 cartons.
