Dutch blueberry exports are on the rise. That's evident from the Dutch Quality Control Bureau and GroentenFruithuis export figures for the first half of 2020. Total exports amounted to 100,537 kg. Compared to 2019, that's an increase of 38%. ABB Growers created a clear graph of this.
The top three buying countries have changed too. Last year, Norway bought the most blueberries from the Netherlands. With a purchase of 25,049 kg of blueberries, that spot belongs to Denmark this year. The UK remains in the top three, importing 38% more Dutch blueberries (23,951 kg). Germany dropped out, replaced by the newcomer, the Czech Republic. That country bought 13,011 kg.
