Boumanfruit BV showing interest

Dutch company plans to buy Uzbek lemons

As Uzbek products are seeing more and more demand from European markets, fruit and vegetable products are especially popular.

The Dunyo news agency reports how -for example- the owner of the Dutch company Boumanfruit BV, Anton Bauman, expressed interest in promoting high-quality and tasty varieties and types of fruits from Uzbekistan on the European market. This became clear during online negotiations with representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Benelux countries and the management of New Wave LLC.

The parties discussed ways of exporting Uzbek lemons to the Netherlands. According to an article on uzdaily.com, an agreement was reached to send samples of the new crop of lemon in early September this year and to continue negotiations to increase supplies.
