So PotatOh! is now available in Swiss retail stores

Terralog AG, the potato specialist from Bern, has launched its So PotatOh! product range – a healthy, fresh and delicious way to enjoy potatoes.

Product features
This potato speciality is vegan and doesn’t contain any flavourings, preservatives or synthetic colours. The ingredients list is clear: simply small, fresh and washed potatoes with a serving of a delicious, oil-based marinade. Flavours:

  • Garden herbs
  • Rosemary and paprika
  • Garlic

Small potatoes and the importance of taste
For this dish, the size and taste of the potatoes are key. Only the smallest potatoes find their way into the container. In comparison to normal potatoes, these smaller, bite-sized potatoes have an un-mistakable taste and reduce preparation time.

Easy to prepare
Once mixed together with the marinade, the potatoes are easy to prepare in a pan or in the oven. An oven-proof container is included. The potato dish takes around 30 minutes to cook, and is then ready to enjoy. So PotatOh! goes well with meat, fish and meat substitute products. In summer it’s the perfect side dish for barbeques, and in winter it makes a great addition to a hearty raclette. With a packaging size of 480 grams, it serves one to two people.

Sustainability and packaging
Sustainability plays an important role. For the packaging, mainly recyclable material is used. The oven-proof trays are produced in Europe, and are made from FSC paper fibres – which is new to Swit-zerland. The cardboard sleeve can also be recycled. The potatoes come mostly from Switzerland, depending on availability. The marinade is produced in Switzerland, and the products are packaged in Rüdtligen-Alchenflüh in Bern.

Market launch in Switzerland
The three varieties are now available in selected stores of the following Migros cooperatives: Aare, Basel, Lucerne and Neuchâtel-Fribourg.
