Cumulative volume of oranges exported to all regions at 3,224,146 cartons

According to a report by the Citrus Growers’ Association of South Africa, exports of oranges to the rest of Africa (and surrounding islands) stood at 21,192 cartons in week 27, down 54% year -on-year.

In week 27, the cumulative number of oranges exported to all regions stood at 3,224,146 equivalent cartons. Most of this volume (at 1,586,240 units) went to Europe, with the Middle East being a close second at 430,948 cartons.
