The doors to the USA market opened for Colombian avocado in August 2017 and since that time, Jupiter Group have emerged as the single largest exporter of Hass avocado.
Per the Volume Data and Projections by the Hass Avocado Board, Jupiter have exported more Colombian grown Hass avocado into the USA than all other suppliers of avocado combined.
Growing in Colombia
Jupiter Group saw great potential to grow Hass avocados in South America and established a hub in Colombia early on. Due to the year round warm temperatures, moderate humidity and nutrient rich farmland, Colombia provides an exemplary opportunity to cultivate exceptional fresh produce.
As Hass avocado in Colombia is produced for 52-weeks of the year, we are able to provide a consistently high quality product for 12 month supply or complement other countries of origin.
