The Idai Nature company from Valencia, which closed its fiscal year on June 30, has obtained the best results in its 10-year history. After being incorporated into the Rovensa Group in 2018 and thanks to the acquisitions it made earlier this year, Idai Nature has experienced unprecedented organic growth.
Idai Nature purchased Agrichem Bio and Grupo Agrotecnología to reinforce its innovative value proposition in a constantly growing market. The incorporation of these companies, with a portfolio aimed at agricultural biocontrol, has allowed Idai Nature to exceed all of its goals and become the main player in biocontrol in Iberia, Mexico, and Chile.
"I am very proud of the figures we are achieving. They are the result of the work of a great team and, above all, of believing in a project that will lead us to become world leaders in agricultural biocontrol," says Carlos Ledo, the founder of Idai Nature and head of the Biocontrol unit in the Rovensa group.
Last year, the company achieved a turnover of 14 million euro. This year, it achieved 40 million. This means its sales grew by more than 20% and by more than 300% including the acquisitions it made. These figures are even higher in terms of EBITDA, which stands at nearly 10 million euro thanks to the synergies that are taking place.
“Since we have not ruled out making more incorporations to the business unit, these figures will multiply in the coming years. We'll continue growing in a sustainable and profitable manner, which will allow us to continue generating stable and quality employment in the Community of Valencia,” Ledo stated.
