Robert Vogel, AGF Direct:

"Chicory market up and down, but average prices okay"

Apart from some winter cauliflower, the supply of cauliflower and broccoli at AGF Direct is currently limited. "Before the volumes start to get going, we will be in June," says Robert Vogel. The Zwaagdijk company has now closed the Spanish import season. "It went well, with high prices until the end of the season. The French cauliflower, in which we are not active ourselves, is now also approaching 2.25 euros each."

"All in all, we can be happy that we are in the products that are sold a lot at the supermarkets. We are eating more at home than ever before and that is why we are in the right product category," says Robert. "The sales of chicory are also going well. We have had very high prices up to 3.50 euros. The market is very erratic and flies from hot to her, but on average we have good prices."
