46% of South Africa's berry exports go to the United Kingdom

The South African Berry Producers' Association released the statistics of the blueberry exports in their newsletters. Most of the berries are exported to the United Kingdom, its share being nearly equal to the entirety of Europe.

"Total Blueberry exports are in line with what we have been expecting for this year. South Africa exported 12,282 tons.

Breakdown of exports are as follows:
• UK 46,2%
• Europe: 46,10%%
• Middle East:2,57%
• Far East 4,90%
• Africa: 0,02%
• IOI: 0,21%"
