Following the signing of th
e Memorandum of Understanding with the Rewe Group, which marks the first step towards an integrated partnership, Greenyard is now splitting its German organization into two separate companies. Subject to regulatory approvals, the newly founded Greenyard company "Fresh Solutions LLC" will place a special focus on the Rewe Group, while Greenyard Fresh Germany LLC will continue to serve Greenyard's other German customers.
The current managing director of Greenyard Fresh Germany, Reiner Scheidler, will continue to lead Greenyard Fresh Germany and serve the remaining customers in Germany. Juan Carlos Sanchez, current managing director of Greenyard Fresh Germany, is appointed International Business Development Director within the Fresh Division of Greenyard.

In this context Christiane Brede will switch from REWE Group to Greenyard on 1 March 2020. Christiane Brede is appointed Managing Director of "Fresh Solutions GmbH". The company will begin operations in the coming months subject to official approvals. Christiane Brede and Juan Carlos Sanchez will jointly manage "Fresh Solutions LLC" as Managing Directors.
Christiane Brede, Juan Carlos Sanchez and Reiner Scheidler will report directly to Charles-Henri Deprez, Managing Director of the Fresh Division of Greenyard.
