The big brands choose blood oranges

"The harvesting of blood oranges is carried out only when they are pigmenting, at a natural pace - explained Vincenzo. Where we live, the harvest season is celebrated like a special day, which is repeated every time these precious fruits, rich in Vitamin C, anthocyanins and other beneficial substances for the human body, are consumed. In short, it is a concentrate of nutraceutical properties that has few equals in its kind."

"The 2019/20 campaign - added Angelo - is very positive on the quality front, but we will probably have a shorter season than usual, with a drop in production. We are planning substantial investments regarding blood oranges over the next few years. The markets are very well oriented towards pigmented oranges, a product we produce at the highest quality. This is something we believe in!"
