Shenzhen market supply returns to regular levels

Market supply for most supermarkets in Shenzhen is back to normal. Only a small number are still dealing with long queues of people panic-buying groceries. The 229 farmer's markets in the city where operations have resumed as usual have an abundant supply of a great variety of agricultural products. The prices are stable and sales are smooth. These markets are more than able to satisfy consumer demand.

Some supermarkets even have more supply than usual. Wang Tao, the CEO of Rainbow Department Stores, stated that Rainbow supermarkets in Shenzhen districts Futian, Luohu, and Nanshan all resumed usual operations in the afternoon of January 28th. Consumers continue to shop in a normal fashion. Only the Rainbow supermarkets in Longhua district still have long queues of people. The company therefore increased the supply volume for these supermarkets.

Businesses in Shenzhen's largest wholesale market, Haijixing Distribution Park, quickly resumed normal operations. Trucks with vegetables from all over the country drive back and forth to supply the wholesale market as usual. Businesses are busy delivering eggplants, peppers, Chinese cabbages, lettuce, cabbages, etc. The market is bustling. The 229 farmer's markets in the city receive more than enough supply.
